A unique and interactive TV workshop using cutting edge technology. Our portable television studio with the latest 'virtual' computer generated set gives groups a rare opportunity to experience life in the high pressure world of broadcast news.

The day-long course, flexible enough to appeal to all school and college ages, gives an insight into the decisions taken against the clock to ensure a programme gets 'on air' to deadline. Groups have to use teamwork, leadership and decision-making skills to choose the content and write scripts. Everyone then auditions in front of the camera and autocue before final roles are allocated as the clock counts down towards transmission.
Groups will also be able to use video cameras provided by Lush Places Media to record their own material in advance of the workshop to ensure the final bulletin is very much theirs.
Lights! Camera! Action! Feeds into the curriculum with elements of ICT, English, communications, arithmetic, media literacy and raising self-esteem.
